PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window opening/closing device which is relatively simple in structure, stable in an entire body, excellent in durability, and so good in operability that an operator can smoothly and quickly carry out the opening/closing operation of a window. SOLUTION: When a slider 11 is displaced outward and inward by a wire 14, a link mechanism 18 is extended/contracted, and therefore the window 2 is displaced in a separating/approaching direction with respect to a window frame 3 to open/close the window 2. A stay damper 30 functions as an adjusting energizing means during the opening/closing operation of the window 2, and it changes its energizing direction from a window opening direction to a window closing direction and vice versa at a dead center as a boundary. Therefore when the window 2 is opened, it is energized in the opening direction in the process of opening the window 2, whereas when the window 2 is closed, it is energized in the closing direction in the process of closing the window 2, and in this manner, the opening/closing operation of the window 2 is smoothly and quickly carried out.
