PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing clamping device of a shield tunnel portal capable of stably setting clamping pressure of a rubber packing with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: One end side of a clamping wire 5 of the rubber packing 3 mounted to the inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical casing 2 in the tunnel portal is fixed with a pin 7, and the other end side is connected to a bolt 11 having a tension hook 10 through an extension spring 9, the bolt 11 is screwed to a supporting metal fitting 12 mounted to the casing 2 to adjust a clamping amount of the bolt 11 by making elongation of the extension spring 9 as a target, and the clamping pressure of the rubber packing 3 can be easily and accurately set.
