SOLID-LUBRICATION APPARATUS FOR HOT ROLLING

PURPOSE: A solid-lubrication apparatus for hot rolling is provided which coats solid lubricant on the surface of the rolls to reduce abrasion of the rolls due to fraction between rolling rolls and strip in the hot rolling process. CONSTITUTION: The solid-lubrication apparatus for hot rolling comprises a solid lubricant(2) formed in a hollow circular plate shape so that the solid lubricant is rotated by rotation of rolling rolls(1) to lubricate the surface of the rolling rolls; a shaft(3) installed in a hollow part of the solid lubricant; a friction pad installed on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft to brake rotation of the solid lubricant by strength of contact friction of the friction pad with the inner circumferential surface of the solid lubricant; a transfer means(6) for moving the solid lubricant up and down and side to side for a width direction of the rolling rolls; and a control part(7) for controlling the transfer means for moving the shaft so that the shaft is sided to one side in the hollow part of the solid lubricant or moving the solid lubricant, wherein a sealing material is installed between the hollow part of the solid lubricant and the shaft to block inflow of foreign materials into the hollow part, and wherein the transfer means comprises actuator(6a), transfer rails(6b) and driving unit(6c).
