PURPOSE: A clock generator is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by using a logic device without an oscillator to generate a clock. CONSTITUTION: A clock generator includes a clock generation unit to control devices according to a control signal of a CPU. The clock generation unit generates a constant clock signal to a clock signal input terminal of the CPU(32), decodes an address and data of the CPU, and outputs signals for controlling the devices. The clock generation unit includes an inverter and a frequency divider. The inverter is used for inverting an input signal. The frequency divider is used for dividing a frequency according to a counting state of an output clock of the inverter.
