<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture signal processing apparatus or the like which facilitates picture quality adjustment on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: In response to an operation part 5 in which alteration operation of a picture quality parameter has been performed, the picture signal S3 for displaying at least the two same pictures on a screen is generated on the basis of an input picture signal.
