<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collector which surely enables a radio portable terminal to reliably function for collecting data under the remote control in a remote place where one cannot easily make the maintenance and the check. <P>SOLUTION: The data collector has a radio portable terminal 3 connected through an interface 2 for collecting data from a data logger 1 having accumulated various kinds of data in the data logger 1 into a main computer.
