<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reflectance of light and easily remove dust adhering to a surface. <P>SOLUTION: An optical apparatus is constituted so that a front cover 24 transmits an optical image emitted from an upper face of an LCD panel 44. One main face of the front cover 24 is exposed to the outside, and a plurality of linear prisms extending mutually parallel are formed on one main face. Thereby the reflectance of light can be suppressed by forming the plurality of the prisms on one main face of the front cover.
