PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet optical element package, which is easily handled, conveniently delivered and supplied, easily worked and assembled, and automated, and to provide a method of using the sheet optical element package, a method and a device for manufacturing the package. SOLUTION: (1) In the sheet optical element package, a plurality of sheet optical elements are supported on a base film, a protective film is disposed on the optical elements, the optical elements are arranged on the base film in line, the respective optical elements have an optical directivity, and the protective film and the base film cover the whole upper face of the optical elements with a margin. (2) The method of using the sheet optical elements is such that the protective film is taken up with an upper roller, and the base film is taken up with a lower roller, thus the sheet optical elements are picked up and fed to a next process. (3) The method of manufacturing the sheet optical element package and the device of manufacturing are such that two sheet optical elements are so placed that the optical directions are orthogonal to each other and mounted on the base film.
