PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the hardness of a sample by bringing the pressing surface into contact with the sample at the position of a pressure needle even in the case of a cylindrical sample, concerning a hardness tester coupling joint for coupling a spring type hardness tester 1 with a lifting spindle 2. SOLUTION: A spherical surface seating 15 is formed on the lower end of the lifting spindle 2, and a thread groove 16 is formed on the lower end of the lifting spindle 2 around the spherical surface seating 15. A casing 17 is screwed with the thread groove 16, and a magnification head 18 is formed on the upper end of the hardness tester 1.
