PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for fixing the interior member of a septic tank certainly and stably. SOLUTION: In the septic tank equipped with a water treatment chamber N capable of housing an interior member S so as to freely immerse the same in water to be treated, a support part 10 for supporting the interior member is provided on the bottom part of the water treatment chamber N and a fixing member 30 extending on the upper side of the interior member S is provided so as to be made attachable to the peripheral edge part H1 of the upper opening part facing to the water treatment chamber N. A locking part 2 is provided to the interior member S and the part 31 to be locked which locks the locking part 2 is provided to the fixing member 30 in such a state that the interior member S is fixed to the support part 10.
