PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reliably carry out a leakage test of each common electrode and each segment electrode in a COG type liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: Dummy electrodes 16, 17 are disposed on a part 15 to be disconnected of a front side transparent substrate 12. Dummy electrode terminals 19, extended from every other segment electrodes 18 out of the segment electrodes 18 disposed on a display part 13 to the part 15 to be disconnected via a transfer part 14, are connected to the dummy electrode 17. Dummy electrode terminals 21, extended from the transfer part 14 to the part 15 to be disconnected and connected to the dummy electrode 16 are conductively connected to every other common electrodes 7 out of the common electrodes 7 disposed on a backside transparent substrate 2 at each of transfer parts 4, 14.
