PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid silicone composition having low viscosity and small variation of viscosity with time. SOLUTION: The liquid silicone composition is produced by kneading (A) 30-60pts.wt. of a diorganopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 5-100,000mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 25°C and containing≥2 silanol groups or aliphatic unsaturated groups with (B) 1-24pts.wt. of surface-treated fine silica powder surface-treated with an organic silicon compound, having a specific surface area of≥50m<SP>2</SP>/g by BET method, a tap density of 0.2-0.4g/mL and a surface carbon quantity of≥2.5wt.%, and kneading the kneaded product with 70-40pts.wt. of the diorganopolysiloxane of the component A (the total amount of the component A is 100pts.wt.).
