SYSTEM FOR NAVIGATING CAR BY USING AUGMENTED REALITY AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A system for navigating a car by using an augmented reality and a method for the same are provided to allow the driver to drive with more safety since the driver is capable of watching the real image of the around of the car with looking at the front side. CONSTITUTION: A system for navigating a car by using an augmented reality includes a head mounted display(HMD). The HMD is provided with an image data collecting unit(11), a global positioning system(GPS) receiving unit(12), an input unit(14) and an image data processing unit(10). The image data collecting unit(11) collects the image data around the car. The GPS receiving unit(12) obtains the current position information of the car. The input unit(14) receives the type of the data selected by the user. And, the image data processing unit(10) receives the image data and the position information from the image data collecting unit(11) and the GPS receiving unit(12) to output the data processed in response to the signal inputted from the input unit(14) by using the augmented reality.
