PURPOSE: Structure of a striker assembly for fixing a rear folding seat of a vehicle is provided to protect passengers safely and prevent deformation of the striker and the bracket by decreasing the moment with reducing the distance from the bracket quickly in deformation at a collision with bending and protruding the end of the striker outward. CONSTITUTION: A striker assembly(20) for fixing a rear folding seat is composed of a striker bracket(21) installed in the vehicle body to fasten the rear folding seat back, and a staple-shaped striker(22) combined with the striker bracket. A part(25) of two portions(23,24) arranged laterally in the striker is bent outward and protruded. The moment applied to the striker by the seat back at a collision is reduced by modifying the shape of the striker. The displacement of the striker is restricted by reducing the moment to the striker, and passengers are protected by reducing displacement of the seat and preventing deformation of the striker and the bracket.
