<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical termination box of favorable workability whose case body can be small-sized, and moreover, which cannot be damaged even if it is brought into contact with optical wiring, and in which maintenance of equipment can be carried out without worry and wiring can be carried out according to the working procedures. <P>SOLUTION: The case body of an optical termination box 1 is constituted of a box body 2 with a front face opened, and a cover 3 for closing the front opening of the main body 2; a backing-plate 2b of the box body 2 is provided with a pedestal 13 and a clamping table 12b of a cable clamp 12 to arrange an air gap before the backing-plate 2b for fixing a panel 14; it is made possible to incorporate a tension member clamp 7 for fixing a tension member 4a of an optical cable 4, a fusing holder 9 for holding a fusing part of an optical fiber 10, and an extra length holder 11 for holding the extra length of the optical fiber 10, between the backing-plate 2b of the box body 2 and the panel 14; and is also made possible to mount equipment 16 on the panel 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
