<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs by enhancing display transmittance to display a good picture, enhancing operability, and employing a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A handwriting device comprises: approximating a writing instrument 2 to the surface of a tablet 8; drawing a substrate 10 at its rear side toward its surface side by drawing a magnetic film 17 by means of the permanent magnet 3 of the writing instrument 2: bringing each movable electrode 15 into contact with each fixed electrode 12; detecting information on the coordinates of its contact point; and displaying a coordinate position indicated by the writing instrument 2 based on the information on the coordinates on a liquid crystal display 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
