PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply improve a conventional core inserting device and to provide a core inserting device which facilitates insertion and removal of a core and can greatly improve operation efficiency. SOLUTION: The core inserting device for inserting the core into a resin-made spectacle sidepiece has a main body 110 where a passage 111 into which the core 4 is positioned and inserted is formed, tracks 112a, 112b, and 112c formed on both the sides of the passage 111, a plurality of rollers 114 which are fitted movably in the tracks, and a bottom member 116 where a guide groove 116a for guidance to the spectacle sidepiece S detachably fitted to the lower part of the main body 110, engaged with the core 4, and held by a jig 2 is formed, and a restriction part 110a which is formed projecting to between the tracks and bottom member 116 and stops the rollers 114 from leaving the tracks when the bottom member 116 and main body 110 are separated.
