PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit in which unwanted resonance is reduced to obtain a high sound quality. SOLUTION: In a speaker unit 10 which is provided with a magnetic circuit 13 including a magnet 14 and a yoke 11, a voice coil 16 disposed in a magnetic gap 12 of the magnetic circuit 13 and a diaphragm 17 which vibrates being coupled to the voice coil 16, and in which the edge of the diaphragm 17 is fixed on a casing 20, a damper holder 30 is provided in a mounting part of a damper 27 and the casing 20. The damper holder 30 is point-contacted via three or more projections 31 provided either on the damper holder 30 or on the casing 20. It is preferable that the damper holder 30 is made of a hybrid material of resin (polypropylene) and tungsten and that its specific gravity is 10.0 or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
