PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program, a method and a system for acquiring support information of software, with which support information for avoiding an error can be acquired without permitting a user side to perform special work, and to provide a recording medium. SOLUTION: When an installation error occurs while software is installed in a user PC, an error code is displayed, system information of the user PC is collected and sent to a support server with the error code. The support server acquires error measure information from the error code and system information, generates support information for avoiding the error and sends it to the user PC.
