PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which has improved color tone, good oxidative decomposition resistance, and besides, a little foreign substances. SOLUTION: The polyester composition is obtained by using at least one compound selected from compounds represented by formula (1): Ti(OR)<SB>4</SB>and formula (2): Ti(OH)<SB>m</SB>(OR)<SB>4-m</SB>(in the formulas (1) and (2), Rs are identical or different each other, and 2-10C organic groups, and m is an integer of 1-4), a polyvalent carboxylic acid, and a catalyst containing at least one stabilizer selected among a steric hindrance amine compound, a steric hindrance phenolic compound, and a steric hindrance phosphorus compound.
