PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chalk powder receiver which prevents the hand from being soiled by a chalk powder when chalk is held by the hand. SOLUTION: A blackboard main body 1 is provided with the chalk powder receiver 3 fitted above a trough 2 provided at the lower edge. Thereby the chalk powder is prevented from sticking to the chalk.
