PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing or painting device applicable for a pole-like body such as a straight pipe and a tapered pipe using the single device. SOLUTION: In order to print/paint the pole-like body such as the straight pipe or the tapered pipe, a transferring blanket 2, which is spanned between two parallel shafts 3 and 4 and circumrotated them, a gravure plate cylinder 5, which comes into contact with or drifts away from the plane surface part of the blanket except the transferring blanket 2 and a sliding stand 8 equipped with a scraper 6 coming into contact with the gravure plate cylinder 5 and an ink feeding part 7 are provided. Further, the straight pipe or the tapered pipe 1 as an object of printing/painting or the like is mounted contactingly and rotatably along a ridgeline part, at which the transferring blanket turns back. In the case of the straight pipe or the pole, the transferring blanket 2 having a straight pipe-like section is employed.
