PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to easily handle an air filter by operating a handle for removing fixing and a knob at the same time when the air filter is detached from a containing part of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A panel is detachably mounted on an indoor unit body, having a suction port. An air filter(5) is detachably mounted along the suction port of the panel. The air filter includes fixing elements for attaching the air filter to the panel, a handle(13) for releasing the attachment of the fixing elements, and a knob(15) used for mounting and demounting the air filter to the panel, wherein the knob and the handle are arranged at positions to simultaneously operate them.
