<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce driving noise of a spindle motor, and realize the high efficiency of the motor drive. <P>SOLUTION: A revolution detection/phase detection circuit 10 and an output matrix circuit 11 generate a plurality of control signals SSU, SSV, and SSW on the basis of detection results of an induced voltage detection circuit 9 in the motor drive circuit. A current control circuit 2 generates current control command values INU, INV, and INW based on it. A current detection circuit 4 detects the output current driving the motor.
