PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital circuit capable of normally functioning irrespective of potential of two values possessed by an input signal. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device has a compensating means and a logic circuit. The compensating means is provided with a capacitor, a first switch and a second switch. The first electrode of the capacitor is connected to an input terminal and the second electrode of the capacitor is connected to the gate of a transistor which the logic circuit incorporates. The first switch controls the coupling between the gate and drain of the transistor, and the second switch controls the potential applied to the drain of the transistor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
