PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device which surely prevents foreign matters such as trash/dust from invading a gap between an optical member (low-pass filter) (LPF) and an imaging device without upsizing and price increasing. SOLUTION: In the image pickup device, re-releasable adhesive layers are formed on both front and rear surfaces except for an opening of a spacer 4, and cover glass of a CCD and the LPF are integrally held between the adhesive layers, thereby forming an approximately sealed space between the cover glass of the CCD and the LPF.
