PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant voltage generation circuit capable of low voltage driving and reducing noise. SOLUTION: A resistor R1 is inserted between an emitter of a pnp transistor PN11 and a base of a pnp transistor PN12, and a resistor 2 is connected to a power source P11. Voltages VPIN and VNIN of two terminals of a differential amplifier OP1 are represented as follows, VPIN=VBE11+VR1+VBE12+...+VBE1nVNIN=VBE21+VBE22+...+VBE2nVPIN=VNIN, so that VR1=nVBE(1)-nVBE(N)≡nΔVBE. Therefore, VOUT is represented as follows, VOUT=VBE+α'nΔVBE=1.2V, and a circuit conventionally required for lowering a voltage to 1/n can be dispensed with.
