COMPOSITION FOR DRILLING MUDDY WATER IMPARTING FLAT TEMPERATURE RHEOLOGY TO MUDDY WATER OVER WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE AND DRILLING MUDDY WATER CONTAINING THE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for oil-based drilling muddy water including invert emulsion muddy water that are able to maintain a relatively consistent rheological profile over a wide temperature range, and to provide a drilling muddy water containing the composition. SOLUTION: The new additives that enable the preparation of drilling muddy water with viscosities that are, compared to conventional muddy water, less affected by temperature over a temperature range from less than about 40°F to more than about 250°F. These additives are based on reaction products of polyamines and carboxylic acids with two or more carboxylic moieties combined with alkoxylated amines and fatty acid amides.
