PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy assembly of a carburetor while avoiding the leakage of fuel gas from a nozzle resulting from the impact of a needle in closure. SOLUTION: A nozzle orifice 31 is formed in a carburetor body 20 in communication with a fuel passage 21 in the carburetor body 20. In the fuel passage 21, the needle 9 is reciprocatingly provided for opening/closing the nozzle orifice 31. A closing member 45 is pressed into the fuel passage 21. The needle 9 is moved in the closing member 45 and the needle 9 abuts on the inner face of the closing member 45 in extinction to shut off the passage of fuel gas, thus preventing the leakage of the fuel gas from the nozzle orifice 31.
