PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window structure that can emphasize the false thickness of an exterior wall by setting back a window sash from an exterior wall surface even in a wooden house. SOLUTION: An opening frame A is formed almost flush with a skeleton 1 of the wooden house, and backing plates 2 are provided outside the skeleton 1 and at the opening inner peripheral surface of the opening frame A. A draining member 3 shaped in a three-dimensional form extending from the opening inner peripheral surface to the opening outer peripheral surface of the opening frame A is provided from the top of the backing plates 2, and the window sash 4 is provided in the innermost position of the opening inner peripheral surface of the opening frame A. Waterproof tapes 5 are provided between the opening inner peripheral surface of the draining member 3 and the window sash 4 and between the opening outer peripheral surface of the draining member 3 and the backing plate 2, and waterproof paper 6 is provided on the surface of the backing plate 2. Parting members 7 are provided at upper and lower sides of the opening inner peripheral surface, and the backing plate 2 is provided with a siding member 8 from the top of the waterproof paper 6. Both sides of the opening inner peripheral surface are provided with the siding members 8 enfolded to the opening inner peripheral surface from the outside of the backing plate 2.
