PLUG ELEMENT FOR AIRTIGHT CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug element for an airtight container which can surely maintain a degree of reduction in pressure within the container to be mounted along with an excellent productivity. SOLUTION: The plug element 1 for the airtight container is so arranged as to detachably seal up the opening part of the container such as a vacuum blood collection tube. The plug element 1 is provided with a plug body 2 of the plug element comprising a thermoplastic or thermosetting elastomer and a gas barrier-oriented film disposed on the surface of or inside the body 2 of the plug element. The gas barrier-oriented film has a gas barrier-oriented material layer 4 comprising a stretchable thermoplastic resin layer and the second material layers 5a and 5b having excellent fusibility with the plug body 2 of the plug element.
