PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for preparing bulbous leaf vegetables suppressing stains of a transfer body during preparation and performing suitable preparing operation. SOLUTION: This machine for preparing the bulbous leaf vegetables is equipped with the transfer body 6, or the like, and a rotating blade 16, and a scraper 30 contacting a scraping part 33 is arranged near an arrangement groove 12 of the transfer body. The scraper 30 can be brought into contact with or separated from the transfer body 6, or the like, by operating a lever 34. Deposits on the transfer body, e.g. sap of the bulbous leaf vegetables can be removed during operation by rotation of the transfer body 6, or the like, and the scraper can be separated when the operation is not performed.
