WIRELESS DIMMING CONTROL UNIT AND A DIMMING SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY FOR REMOTELY OPERATING A DIMMING CONTROL CONSOLE

PURPOSE: A wireless dimming control unit and a dimming system are provided to simply, rapidly and properly execute dimming control operation by determining which studio or theater the wireless dimming control unit is taken in, and by keeping operation functions in a plurality of dimming control consoles. CONSTITUTION: A dimming control console(10), a wireless dimming control unit(20) and a wireless LAN AP(Access Point)(30) are installed in a certain studio. A memory unit(21) includes a memory(22) for storing a dimming control program for each studio and a memory(23) for storing a different ID code of each studio. A wireless communication unit(24) communicates with the dimming control console(10). A download determining/executing unit(25) downloads the dimming control program stored and maintained in the dimming control console(10). An operation/display unit(26) connected to the memory unit(21) allows an operator to perform operation and checking.
