ASSEMBLY OF FAN AND SHROUD

PURPOSE: An assembly of a fan and a shroud is provided to improve the efficiency of the fan and the cooling efficiency by isolating the air leakage between a band of the fan and the shroud. CONSTITUTION: A fan(30) comprises a hub(31), plural blades(32), a band(33) and at least one ribs(34). The hub is combined with a driving shaft of a motor. The blades are installed in the circumference of the hub at certain intervals and inclined. The band is contacted to the tip of the blades. The ribs are stuck to an air inlet(I) in the circumference of the band. A shroud(40) has a housing portion(41) to be formed through the rotation trace of the blades. Thereby, the leaked air is isolated by forming an air barrier between the band of the fan and an air current guide of the shroud through the ribs. Therefore, the efficiency of the fan and the cooling efficiency are improved.
