<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a reduction gear capable of preventing the breakage of a position sensor with an excessive force applied to an input shaft of the position sensor, caused by a radial load that can act on an output shaft, with no degradation in detection precision in the rotational angle position of the output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A coupling member 25 formed of an elastic material such as rubber is fitted to a gear 18 to which an output shaft 17 of a reduction gear 20 is fitted. An input shaft 21c of a position sensor 21 for detecting the rotational angle position of the output shaft 17 is connected to the gear 18 by the coupling member 25. Because of a structure that a protruding part 18b formed to the gear 18 is embedded in the coupling member 25, the coupling member 25 is reinforced to suppress its torsion. Thus, the occurrence of a difference between the rotational angle of the output shaft 17 and the rotational angle of the input shaft of the position sensor 21 is suppressed for improving precision in the position detection of the output shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
