<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of display using light emission of a light emitting element as a spot light source for larger surface light emission. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with a plurality of light emitting elements 4 arranged in matrix on a circuit board 2 and a lens plate 13 which is arranged covering the circuit board 2 and light emitting elements 4 from above and also has a plurality of lenses 16, receiving light emitted by the light emitting elements 4, arrayed on at least one surface of a transparent plate material 15 in matrix at array intervals about 1/10 time as large as array pitches of the light emitting elements 4; and the lens plate 13 receives the light emitted by the respective light emitting elements 4 by a plurality of groups of lenses 16 allocated to respective LEDs to display an enlarged light emission surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
