<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil that uses a small number of components and has a small outside diameter, and to provide a method by which the coil can be manufactured easily. <P>SOLUTION: This ignition coil 1 is provided with a cylindrical secondary spool 22, a secondary winding 23 wound around the spool 22, and a resin insulator 230 for winding which is cured after being penetrated among the wound portions of the winding 23. This coil 1 is also provided with a primary spool 240 disposed on the outer peripheral side of the secondary winding 23, a primary winding 25 wound around the spool 240, and a high-voltage tower 241 which is disposed on one end sides of these members in the axial direction and to which an ignition plug is fitted. At least either one of the primary spool 240 and the high-voltage tower 241 and the resin insulator 230 for winding are integrally formed by using the same resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
