WATER-BASED INK COMPOSITION GIVING DISCOLORABLE WRITTEN LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition which gives such written lines as to be discolorable when rubbed with an eraser but unseperable when rubbed e.g. with a finger.

SOLUTION: The water-based ink composition giving discolorable written lines contains a pigment having such a particle size distribution that particles with particle sizes of from 2μm to 15μm account for at least 70% of all the particles. The ink further contains a pigment different in color from the above pigment and with a particle size of 1μm or less and/or a water-soluble dye.
