PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing capable of preventing the scattering of a lubricant to the outside of the bearing, caused by compressing sleeve outer diameter, the contamination of a device, and the seizure of the bearing. SOLUTION: The force compressing the outer diameter of the sleeve 3 is unified by making the length of a contact part of a hub-boss part 7 to which the sleeve 3 is fitted, with the sleeve, longer than a length of an outer size of a radial bearing, and the sleeve 3 is equally radially reduced as a whole, whereby the phenomenon that the lubricant can not be retained because of the uneven balance of the generated pressure caused by too small radial clearance on a part of the bearing, the lubricant is overflown and scattered to the external of the bearing, the device is contaminated, and the bearing is seized, can be prevented.
