PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap for a low-floor bathroom unit, which prevents poor draining in spite of the flattened shape thereof. SOLUTION: The drain trap is formed of a cylindrical trap portion, a draining outer cylinder, a seal water pipe, and an annular mounting flange. The trap portion has its upper end opened and its lower end closed. The draining outer cylinder encloses the trap portion, and has its upper edge located above an upper edge of the trap portion. Further a bottom wall of the draining outer cylinder, extending in a radial inward direction from a lower edge of the same reaches a side wall of the trap portion. The seal water pipe having an outer flange formed at an upper portion thereof, is inserted into the trap portion from above. The mounting flange bears the outer flange of the seal water pipe, and is engaged with the draining outer cylinder. According to the drain trap thus formed, the draining outer cylinder has a drain port in a side wall thereof, and part of an annular gap between the upper edge of the trap portion and the seal water pipe outer flange or the mounting flange immediately above the upper edge is enlarged compared with the remaining part of the annular gap.
