PURPOSE: A method of making a plum jam using a plum having relatively firm flesh is provided. It satisfies the consumer's taste and preference and allows the consumer to take the plum jam in large quantities at low cost to improve health. CONSTITUTION: After washing a plum with water and cutting it into a suitable size, the seeds are removed therefrom. The pitted plum is mixed with sugar in a ratio of 1:1, aged for about 4 to 5 days in a vessel and extracted. The plum residue is mixed with sugar in a ratio of 1:0.5, aged for about 3 months in a vessel and mixed with the plum extract. Then, the mixture is heated for about 1 to 2min at specified temperature, ground and heated with a suitable amount of sugar for about 1 to 2min at specified temperature. |
