PURPOSE: Provided is a biological wastewater treatment method being treating wastewater with high efficiency at low operation cost. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) separating solids using a solid separator from wastewater, (b) activating organic sludge in an activated sludge pond, (c) treating wastewater using activated sludge and anaerobic microorganisms while mixing wastewater in an anaerobic tank, (d) intermittently supplying air to the wastewater in a first partial aeration tank using a diffuser and treating the wastewater using activated sludge and anaerobic and aerobic microorganisms, (e) intermittently supplying air to the wastewater in a second partial aeration tank using a diffuser and treating the wastewater using activated sludge and anaerobic and aerobic microorganisms, and (f) discharging water purified by a first and a second sedimentation tanks, supplying a portion of sludge to the activated sludge pond using a sludge pump, and discharging the remainder of the sludge.
