PURPOSE: A fishing float, which accurately responds on the nibbling of a fish, is provided to position the hook at the determined depth in spite of the wind so that the fishing line is not raised up, and to allow a fisherman to accurately act on the nibbling of a fish. CONSTITUTION: The fishing float, which is used when angling in the state that a float stopper is attached to the fishing line, includes: a body, having a penetration hole formed withinside in the continuous straight direction so as to be passed by the fishing line; a first restraining unit, preventing the float stopper of the fishing line, passing through the penetration hole, from being drawn out of the float stopper towards the water bottom; and a second restraining unit, preventing the float stopper, restrained by the first restraining unit, from being drawn out of the float stopper in the reverse direction, i.e. towards the sky, and also maintaining the state that the float stopper is restrained by the first restraining unit.
