<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar battery capable of preventing liquid junction of both of single battery layers even in the case of structuring the battery by laminating a plurality of single battery layers using the high polymer gel electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: This bipolar battery 30 is formed by laminating a plurality of bipolar electrodes 10, which are respectively formed by providing a positive electrode active material layer 2 in one surface of a collector 1 and a negative electrode active material layer 3 on the other surface thereof, and separators 40 to be respectively pinched between the positive electrode active material layer 2 and the negative electrode active material layer 3.
