<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic reaction device capable of generating efficient catalytic reaction. <P>SOLUTION: This catalytic reaction device is composed by serially connecting a plurality of catalyst carriers 3a-3c, and equipped with a bypass passage 8 adjacent to the catalyst carriers 3 and capable of bypassing a reform gas from the upstream sides to the downstream sides of the respective catalyst carriers 3 including the catalyst carrier 3a disposed in the uppermost stream. The catalytic reaction device is provided with valves 5 for regulating the flow rate of the reform gas to be delivered to the catalyst carriers 3, and the flow rate of the reform gas to be delivered to the bypass passage 8; and a CO removal controller 9 for controlling the valves 5 by determining the reform gas flow rate flowing to the catalyst carriers 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
