PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system which supplies electric power from a camera to an auxiliary device by electromagnetic induction. SOLUTION: The camera system is provided with a camera H, and the auxiliary device L which is detachably attached on the camera. Electric power is generated in a power receiving means 105e by electromagnetic induction between a power supplying means 105f arranged on the camera and the power receiving means 105e arranged on the auxiliary device. A part of the electric power is supplied to a driving system 102 of the auxiliary device, and the other is supplied to a control system 101 of the auxiliary device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
