PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain magnifying glass with a built-in electronic image recording apparatus which is made thin and can record the electronic image of an observation target looked through a magnifying lens with a simple operation. SOLUTION: A magnifying lens 12 magnifies an observation target 50 along an optical axis A and on the other hand, CCD 16, 17 read light from the observation target 50 along an optical axis B different from the optical axis A of the magnifying lens 12 and output an image signal. The image signal is converted to the image signal of an image along the optical axis A of the magnifying lens 12 by an image processing part 24. When a release button 22 is depressed, the image signal is converted to the signal of USB standard by a USB 32 and outputted to a personal computer 38. The CCD 16, 17 are provided on the optical axis B different from the optical axis A of the magnifying lens 12, so that magnifying glass 10 with the electronic image recording apparatus can be made thin, and the image signal is converted into the signal of the USB standard, thereby facilitating utilization by the personal computer 38.
