PITCH CONTROL COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING ADHESION OF PITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitch control composition capable of suppressing adhesion/deposition of the pitch to production apparatuses in a craft pulp production step, and to provide a method for controlling adhesion of the pitch. SOLUTION: The pitch control composition comprises a polycarboxylic acid or its alkali salt and an anionic copolymer containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an unsaturated sulfonic acid as monomers or its alkali salt.
