PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchannel chip capable of mixing efficiently supplied ingredient fluids, while securing a required miniaturization. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 4 is stuck onto the outer surface of a substrate 2 corresponding to a reaction passage 33, to thereby constitute a bimorph structure. When a pulse voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element 4, the shape of the reaction passage is changed, and the deformation disturbs the flow of the ingredient fluid, to thereby heighten mixing efficiency of the ingredient fluid. Sticking of the piezoelectric element on a lid plate 1 and sticking of the piezoelectric element on both the substrate 2 and the lid plate 1 are effective, and also it is effective that the substrate is made from a piezoelectic body and the substrate is directly deformed. In addition, the mixing efficiency can be heightened furthermore by dividing a deformed region and controlling the deformation individually. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
