PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field analysis method enabling one to analyze by using a model considering frequency dependence of iron loss. SOLUTION: For analyzing magnetic field by considering time variation of magnetic flux density and using a model of two-dimensional magnetic characteristic indicating the relation between magnetic field intensities H<SB>x</SB>, H<SB>y</SB>and magnetic flux densities B<SB>x</SB>, B<SB>y</SB>by using magnetic resistivity coefficients v<SB>xr</SB>, v<SB>yr</SB>and magnetic resistivity coefficients v<SB>xi</SB>, v<SB>yi</SB>, a two-dimensional magnetic characteristic model including a term k<SB>x</SB>×Δf(dB<SB>x</SB>/dθ) expressing the variation due to excitation frequency of dB<SB>x</SB>/dθindicating time variation of magnetic flux densities B<SB>x</SB>, B<SB>y</SB>is used. In this manner, based on the data of reference frequency (for example, commercial frequency 50Hz), magnetic field behavior in the other frequency can be expressed. Thus, modeling of characteristic with the same repeated procedure in the case of variation of exciting frequency becomes not necessary and calculation time needed in the magnetic field analysis can be shortened.
